1991 VX800 For Sale

1991 VX800 with blown engine. 7900 miles, clear title in hand. Everything on the bike is in very good condition with the exception of the engine. Looking to sell for 175 dollars but MUST PICK UP. Live in Allentown, PA area. If interested, email romb599@msn.com.

Wished I lived closer , that's a perfect candidate for an Intruder heart transplant, don't part it out!!! There are too few VX's to ruin a perfectly good roller chassis.

Can we save this one from the parts vultures?

why an intruder?  i have a perfectly good vx engine with a bit more miles (12k) that i got as a spare for my vx which started consuming a pint of oil every 1500(?) miles.  i decided that adding oil was a lot easier than trying to do a transplant

Hens teeth are easier to find than a running VX engine without it's frame...
Perfectly good VX motors are stripped to pieces by the parts vultures.

They're are plenty of orphaned Intruder 800 engines by comparison....

harold asked me to find him another nice vx, but mike b. decided to keep it.
there is another local (to me) vx with a good engine ...

i'd have expected to have more engines back east and more frames out west, but apparently not!

Happy to report that this one got saved from the parts vultures. It will get a new heart from a bent VX.
